People and Their Avatars

Stumbled on a cool article today at New Scientist on an upcoming book on Avatars. Funny how some of the people create avatars that reflect their real person while others go completely out there and do something that is “not them”. There’s one lady in the narrated slide show that built up her confidence using online games and avatars, and eventually played less as she engaged more in real life relationships. Check out the kid, Jason Roe, who has MD and found online games as a way to get out and meet people.
