BBC News has an article up today on the first Japanese politician to open an office in Second Life:
By opening the first office in Second Life during a campaign, the Japanese politician may be violating a 50 year old law regulating distribution of text and images for use in election campaigns. Others are writing this off as nothing more than a publicity stunt. It remains to be seen how this will play out in Japan. Considering that Linden Lab only officially launched Second Life in Japan a few months ago, this is an interesting move. Read the article at the above link to get all the details.
