Shirts and Birthdays

Today the high capacity silk screening equipment was fired up at Downey to make the TeamJKG shirts for the Johansen students and teachers. A few Kyoto students helped out with this project. This machine can crank out seven shirts at a time.

And one of the Kyoto students celebrated his 17th birthday today. The Downey class threw a little party to celebrate this day.

One of the students made chocolate cupcakes for the celebration.

Everybody loves an excuse to each chocolate cupcakes.

Tomorrow is the first field trip to San Francisco. It should be fun, and this will be the first time that the students will all be together. The weather forecast is good, with mild temps in the mid to high 70’s. Hopefully we’ll be able to see the Golden Gate (no fog).
